Exhibition showing relic from Zhongshan Warship opens in HK

 People visit an exhibition showing the relic from Zhongshan Warship in Hong Kong, south China, June 21, 2011. The three-day exhibition, opened Tuesday, displays some 60 items retrieved from warship Zhongshan. The Warship was named after Sun Yat-sen, whose name in Mandarin Chinese is "Sun Zhongshan." Sun was an important figure in the Chinese Democratic Revolution. On October 24, 1938, the ship was bombed by Japanese invaders near Wuhan, during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1937-1945). It was salvaged January 28, 1997, and transported to the Hubei Shipyard for preservation
